New Sonicview Factory Files: Sonicview 360 Premier, Sonicview 360 Elite, Sonicview HD8000
NOTE: The Factory Files are for True FTA only and NOT IKS. Legal Download/Update Option and New Chess Game. Does not include media streaming yet.

The Sonicview iHub is an advanced serial-to-ethernet converter for your favorite Sonicview receiver. The iHub dongle device will allow you to connect your Sonicview 360 Premier, 360 Elite or 8000 HD receiver to the internet to take advantage of online updates, such as IKS (Internet Key Sharing) enabling you to get the most out of your FTA receiver, including Dish Network channels recently switched to Nagravision 3 encryption. The HD 8000 will allow you to playback video over your home network. All units working in conjunction with the iHub will let you play music and view pictures over your home network.

How To Set up the Sonicview iHub for Dish/Bev

* Sonicview iHub Manual Will Be Updated Soon With New Instructions *

  1. Download the current file released for your model of Sonicview 360 Elite, Premier or HD8000 FTA receiver.
  2. Download the latest Sonicview iHub Firmware Update (1.9) file.
  3. Download, install and launch the WIZNET Configuration Tool for Windows.
  4. If you are using Windows Vista you will likely need to turn off Windows Firewall temporarily, and will need to check the Direct IP Search. Click the Search icon at the bottom to find your Sonicview iHub. If you have more than one, each will have its own IP address and MAC address.
    You should see something similar to the following:
  5. Most of you will be using the default DHCP configuration. Others will need to manually modify the network settings for your specific network environment.

    (Special Note: If you are a new iHub user and on a network that does not use DHCP, you will need to modify your IP information on the receiver manually and then update the information within the WIZNET application.)

    With the latest version of the Sonicview iHub Solution you will not need to worry yourself with the Use Dns, The Server IP or Port or Domain name. This information is embedded in the software, and your IP config menu will no longer contain these fields.

  6. Select the most recent Sonicview iHub Firmware found on http://sonicviewihub.org.
  7. Upload the latest firmware you downloaded from us for the Sonicview Ihub using the Upload icon.
  8. After the upload processing is complete, repeat the search as you did above and you should see the latest firmware version information.

Enjoy the channels provided by your new file. The Sonicview iHub is the first to provide for Nagravision 3 decryption on Dish Network!

NOTE: Should your screen turn to black and white press the yellow button, then the up arrow, and then left. This should turn the color back on. check your guide and menu if the guide is still black repeat to return to NTSC and this should return all color.
